Connectivity

In the Vale do Capão there is no mobile or internet signal in the rural areas. The village has two internet providers and almost every establishment has wi-fi you can ask to use. A public wi-fi signal recently opened, limited to the square and bandstand area.

Public transport

Buses run only twice a day (Mon–Fri): departures at 6am and 8am, returning from Seabra at noon and 2pm. On Saturdays there is a single departure at 6am, returning at 11am. Vans connect the Vale do Capão to Palmeiras aligned with the bus times, with a night departure at 8pm. Taxis and moto-taxis are at the junction of Juca and Gorgulho streets.

Health

The central health post is open Mon–Thu (8am–noon and 2–5:30pm) and Fri (8am–2pm). Phone: +55 75 99269-9566.

Shops

Shops open around 9am, usually closing between noon and 4pm — except restaurants and bars, with varied hours.

Money

There are no banks or ATMs in the Vale do Capão, but most places accept cards.
